Assistant Professor

I joined the Dept of Management Studies at North Campus University of Kashmir in year 2013 after working in the Marketing Research Industry for 8 years. In my corporate experience I had the opportunity to work at global marketing research firms such as TNS India and GFK Mode. I received an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a graduate MBA degree in Marketing. I was fortunate to do my doctorate in Marketing after I Joined the University of Kashmir as a faculty in Management Studies. 

I teach Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Strategic Management to undergraduate and graduate students at Department of Management Studies at North Campus, University of Kashmir. 

My  research focuses on consumer behaviour and decision making, with particular emphasis on  the luxury consumers’ purchase behaviour. 

My work has been published in both national and international  marketing journals. I have presented papers at many national and international conferences.
